The Dabbs line that I am searching may have originated with Archibald Dabbs, and Elizabeth Dabbs, from Anson, NC, in the 1850's. Then moved to Wateree Township, Kershaw Cty., SC. But I have no personal connection to verify this information.

My grandmother, Jessie Belle Gurganious, lived in the Gregg Township, Aiken Cty., SC in the 1900's, On a homestead in Southport, FL, and then wound up with Thomas David Dabbs, my Grandfather, in Statesboro, GA, as per the 1920 Census.

After Thomas David Dabbs death in 1927, when my mom was only 7 yrs. old, she moved to Aiken County, SC, where she died in 1954, and is buried in Langley, Aiken Cty., SC.
