Richard, thanks for all this information. I have a notebook that I have made for each of my ancestors. I have quite a few now. In them I put birth certificates, death certificates, copies of all census years found, names of children, time lines and etc.

I have found that these time lines help me follow their everyday existence, and as I find out new info, I add it to the time lines. This way I begin to get an idea of the indiviudual; it makes them seem so real and alive in my mind. That is why I wanted information on Rev. Richard Dabbs. And I wanted any kind of reading material that might be out there on him. I thought that maybe some genealogist had written a biography on this man.

I have printed out your two messages and they will go in my notebook on Rev. Richard. If you know of any reference or biography on this man, I would love to purchase a copy to read.
