My gg-grandfathers names is Jakob Hadesh he was born in 1834, I believe in Plzen or in that area of western Bohemia. He Married Barbora Tyvola 1862 in Bohemia, she was born about 1845 in Bohemia. When they came to the United States the surname was changed to Hadish.
I have complete information on the family in the United States, I am searching for information prior to immigrating.
Also, searching for the origin of the surname. Searching the name, I know it is Jewish and means renew, which come from the origin Hadash. But used as a surname I do not know.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
