I think the village of SKOLKA, parish MELNIK about 30 kilometers northern of Prag could be your SCOLCHAN

SC = SK, CH similar K, an additional N could happen far away in America.
The records of the Parish of Melnik are in the archive of Prag ( http://www.soapraha.cz/ ). There are no online recources.
Skolka was a village with some houses only, now it is part of the the village of Maly Ujezd (germ. Klein Augezdorf). It s name dissapeared sometime in the 20th century.
