I contacted the archives in czech and received this information.
Can you tell me how I would get hold of a cpy of the birth certificate.
How would I find out when Johann and Marie got married.
I Known that Johann died in 1925 and Marie in 1899 -I have a picture of a very large grave which I know is in Frydek- how would I find out where it is?
In the register of birth for the parish in Frydek/Friedek we founded the record of birth of your grandfather Wilhelm Johann Faikos who was born not on 10 May, but on 12 May 1881. We don´t made any copies of the historical registers, because everybody can take pictures of them by themself at the study room at the archives. We send you the excerption from the register of birth, it is written in German:
