You're welcome. I sort of doubt that no other US documents being that Andras (Andrew) CZEZNAK (Csernak)came to America as 18 years old in 1904. He had to fill out a draft registration form. If he lived pass 1940 and not naturalized than an Alien Registration Form. Ask the aunt if anyone in the family mention a region like Gomork, Szepes, Saros, Trencsen, Nyitra. Here is a map of Gomork http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910/gomork.jpg Tiszolcz is in brown outline below 45. I took a second or third look on Andras's manifest and I think I see 2 dots (umlauts) on a letter after G but did not find a village with Gonc starting with T in old Hungary. You might consider and post on Slovak Republic's Genforum board. Another set of eyes might see what I am not seeing. The shipping clerk wrote Jakubjan, Zohor and Poruba correctly for the passengers above and below but I can not decipher Janos's and Andras's village. Found something similar/close to Torgeny. Tergenye, Hont megye, Hungary Trhyna now part of town of Sikenica, SK. Notify Administrator about this message?
