No need to give up, not yet. Did I already ask you if you have any other documents? I know that I wrote another reply before this one.
Family went to family. Our ancestors married within same region, religion (few exceptions) but for sure one common langugae to communicate in and same tradition to observe.
I don't think I asked you about the religion. What was religion of this ancestor?
GUZMAs that show up coming thru EI were from Tiszolcz, Benkocz and Fajnica.
Tiszolcz, Gomork megye, Hungary now Tisovec, Slovak Republic.
GUZMA and C^ERNAK does show up in Tisovec's phone book.
