You can see why I was having such difficulty, eh? I am guessing that the person who wrote down the information for the ships manifest wrote what he heard, not the actual spelling of the town. Trying to factor in the accent the town could start with Tsr... or Troj... no way to know. And, as far as the cousin's name, I have no idea. Married into the Guzma family but not sure if they met in Europe or in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
Don't have time today to type in the list of varient spellings but none match the ones you suggest. All start with the same "sound" Chez or Shez.
I appreciate your help but please don't get a headache over it. That's MY job. I knew it was a longshot when I asked the question. I think I shall move on to an easier branch of the family. May you ever be blessed. Sheri
