Thank you for all of your help. I feel like I hit the jackpot when I found the baptismal certificates with the name of the church on it. I sat with a Czech dictionary and translated most of it. Is it worthy of staying overnight to see the area. I will be in Vienna and thought I could just do a day trip from there. Do you think anyone will speak English in Kamenice nad Lipou or the surrounding towns? Laura
