I am looking at my gr.-grandmother's application for US Passport.
She lists her place of birth as Stary Koha, Czechoslovakia.
Is this a correct spelling of the community's name, and
where is it located?
2nd. same document lists my gr.grandfather's place of brth
as Vermirov, Czechoslovakia, again is this correct spelling and where located?
My gr.grandfather's name was Frank Balvin, and he came to the USA about 1895 or so. Are there Balvin's in this area? Thank you for any help.
