I went to all the sites that you recommended to me, however, I couldn't find any information. Some of the sites didn't translate to English. Thank you for your time in trying to help me. The name of our Grandfather Michael Shimkanin has too many different spellings. Which one is his given surname, I don't know. I was able to copy maps from Eastern Slovakia, and the History of Zemplin.
