I feel that this board is not for your query. You should post on Croatia as that is where the town of Ogulin is. Maybe you have already. The village of Sucha Dolina is in Slovak Republic not Czech Republic.

Is the KOSCHAL an "americanized" version of KOS'C'AL? That surname shows up in Croatia's phone book.
Did Maria come thru Ellis Island? www.ellisislandrecords.org I find Maria and Maria KOSCAL arr. in 1902 thru EI.
