Information from Max Ender, P. O. Box 130, Gilmer, Texas 75644.This Vincenc Dusek (1807) emigrated to Texas in 1867 after the death of his wife.He died at New Sweden, Texas south of Austin, Texas.Four of his 6 sons and his 2 daughters were all in Texas by 1870, settling at New Ulm, Elgin, Victoria and Temple Texas.His son Frantisek Dusek (1837) and his family bought about 3,000 acres on the Concho River in Concho County in 1897 from the Miller Cattle Co. He and his family moved there in 1900 from Elgin, Texas.He is the founder of the Lowake Dusek Family. All of his children immigrated to Texas except for 2 sons: Vincenc, Ml.(from whom the Lowake-Urban family is descended), Ignac who diedin 1867 at age of 24.
