I just found this...
Ellen Cyrus married Obadiah Vernon on 2-19-1828...and then July 6, 1833 she married Samuel B. Fisk. She had at least two children with him, Mary born abt 1836 and Samuel born about 1840. I find these two children living with James Sires/Cyrus in Gibson Co, Tn in 1850.

I have an orginal letter from Samuel Fisk to his daughter Mary dated August 1860 where he mentions that "Minerva Lamb has a fine girl"

Now I know who Minerva Lamb is!

He also mentioned "your grandfather Sirez (sic) died last June"
