Nimrod was probably born later than 1764. His father was most likely Enoch Sires, son of James Sires. James was the son of John Sires of Fauquier Co., VA.

The primary researcher on the Enoch Sires line is Lynn Cyrus, 2772 S. 39th St., Lincoln, NE 68506.

I am descended from another son of James Sires, Jesse Sires. His children went from Stokes Co., NC to Cabell Co., WV about 1808/1810.
