Seeking information about a Cyrus who was married to Anna Marie Frances Mays (b 11 December 1811 Wake Co NC). They had one child - Marguerite Ann Cyrus, b 1835 in Georgia. Anna Marie was widowed and in Texas by 1841 when she married David Campbell. Anna Marie is my 3Ggrandmother.

Among early Texas settlers who received land grants in the 18301s were Nimrod Cyrus and William Cyrus. They are on the 1840 census. In 1850 Nimrod is not listed but William and Barbara are listed in Lavaca county in separate households. In 1860 Barbara A. Cyrus (b 1785 Wayne co NC) was listed in the household of David Wilson Campbell and Anna Marie Frances Mays Cyrus Campbell in Navarro county. Could she be a former mother in law or aunt?
