The 1900 census for Summers Co WVA shows William as being born in May 1844, married to Mary who was born in March 1855. It says they had been married for 37 years, making their marriage date around 1863. It shows children at home as Rosa, born in Mary 1882; Dove born in Nov 1886; and Houston B. born in Sept. 1876. This last year is fuzzy. I had been told by a descendant that Mary's last name was Manley. I have no documentation for that.
