I am seeking the name of the spouse of William H. Cyrus, b. Putnam Co. VA in May 1839, died FEb 22, 1924 in Summers Co, WV. The death certificate of his son Houston B. Cyrus says his mother was "Merietta Miller" and I found a Greene Co. VA marriage record for William H. Cyrus and a Mary E. Miller , who were married 27i July, 1865. However, other researchers say the spouse of William H. Cyrus was Mary or Mary Etta Jones. So, I am seeking documentation showing the name of the spouse of William H. Cyrus, father of Houston B. Cyru, Roe Cyrus, Cornelia E. Cyrus, John W. Cyrus and Lenora Dove Cyrus (my maternal grandmother). If any has this documentation, please scan and send me a copy at: thfrbp@suddenlink.net.
