M Cyrus...I am an M Cyrus also.
I have heard the persian connection also. I don't know if it's true. However, I was watching PBS. They did a Special on Melungians. People here in eastern USa who claimed Portuguese, Turkish , mediterranian descent. People called them crazy! So, most just say they are native American and drop it.
But they proved it. Melungians are NOT Caucasians. There is a Bone/Fat Roll on the base of the skull in Melungians. It the one Genetic Trait that transferred 100's of years...
Mid Eastern- mediterranian peoples have this shaped skull. Persian is Mid eastern...So, it's possible.
Feel your skull is it not smooth? but a Hump at the base?
I always called it the Cyrus hump. Summers Co. WV Cyruses have it.
Aryans were in persia...later Slavia- Germany maybe when the Saxons went to England it was Sires...and that's How Cyrus/XERXES came down.
