From the information passed down I have the following I can not find additional information on
1) Mathieu Cyrus - elected senator Ill 1839
I have searched the Senate database and can not validate.
2) James & Margret Cyrus - Ill original members of the Christian Church
3) John Cyrus - 1st Sargeant, 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, Captain - 50th Ill Infantry there was no year listed.
Any information appreciated,
