Another Cyrus researcher sent me the following information about William Cyrus, b. Abt 1812, VA, M. Elizabeth Buzzard on 27 Jul., 1833 in Putnam Co., VA, died 18 Sept., 1877 in Putnam Co, WV. Elizabeth Buzxzard died of lcholerus morbis on 30 Jul, 1875 in Putnam Co., WV... her parents were Martin Buzzard and nancy, book 1, page 39, Putnam Co. According to this source, this Williams' parents were Isaac Cyrus and Margaret..., per Book 1, page 43, Putnam Co., Court House. Wm Cyrus and Elizabeth Buzzard had following children, all b. Putnam Co: Christopher, b. Abt. 1835; Isaac, b. Abt. 1836, William H., b. May, 1838 and Nancy, b. Abt. 1839. However, the 1850 census of Putnam Co shows following for this family: William, age 38; Elizabeth, age 38; Christopher, age 15; Isaac, age 14; Nancy, age 11; William H., age 10.
