Hi again,
Do you happen to know what lines Albert's children married into? The reason I ask is because I'd like to compare them against the surnames of lines Jane's children married into. (I descend from her through her second marriage to Thomas Stapleton. According to Civil War pension documents, she went by Jane vs. Margaret.)
Another sister of Albert and Margaret Jane, Emily Cyrus Johnson, had a son named Enoch Johnson. He married my g-grandfather Hankins's sister. So, in addition to being a descendant of Jane, I'm doubly connected to Emily's line. (Emily was my ggg-aunt; her daughter-in-law was my gg-aunt.) However, I connect through Emily on Dad's side of the family and to her daughter-in-law on Mom's side.
I just think it's interesting to see how many times these lines can connect. Plus, it might give me a lead to my gg-grandmother Hankins' parentage. Her maiden name was Campbell.
I looked at your website (neat!), but didn't see the names of Albert's children. I'm likely overlooking a link.
