This line is partially documented in a book entitled "Linn County, Oregon Pioneer Settlers" vol 6. Compilers are Miles and Milligan. They attribute two husbands to Mary Adeline Moore: 1) James Cyrus and 2) Andrew Jackson Alley. She bore 5 children, 3 were from her first marriage and two from her second marriage. Unfortunately, the Alley family is the subject of this study. I, too, descend from a James Cyrus, b. 1812 Grainger Co.
