* Grand-Pere' Pierre Cyr of Ile St. Croix(A Cabin boy with the 1604 Champlaine voyage)/m. Grand-Me're "Diggore'" of Normandy (said to have been a stow-away also on same voyage where they supposedly met)returned to Old World with De Monts, Fall 1604, married in St. Germain 1604/5. Grand-pere' Cyr's grandson (#1) grew up listening to his grandfather's tales of his New World adventures with Champlaine and the bounty and forests there).
