Your mention of Cyr Plantation got my attention. I know that my grandfather, Leo Joseph Cyr was born there in 1892. His father's name was Joseph Cyr. I always wondered what it was they raised on that plantation. I guess it was Cyrs! My grandfather died in 1972 in Mount Vernon, Maine. Do you have any information about Cyr plantation?
