I have just started my search and want to know and find out everything I can find out about my fathers family and mine.
My fathers name was Roland Cyr, and his parents were Dennis Paul Cyr and Mary Josephine Lajoie. Denis and Mary died believe in 1917 or 1918 from the flu epidemic, which at that time my faher went to live with an Aunt on the Lajoie side, when he was only one year old. If any of this sounds familiar, Please let me know. My father also had a brother named Donald and a sister named Louise whom married a Pelleier.
