A few notes on the Triboci:

the Germanic tribe that lived in Metz prior to the Belgic Celts:

They essentially lived in Alsace prior to any invasions of others: Celts Romans Franks

With Strasbourg being their capital.

They clearly spoke German and fought against the Romans under Germanic leadership.

To Cesaer at least: they were NOT Celts: he considered them to be Germans

He indicates they had come from elsewhere but were well established by 58BCE

But here again: we do know that a La Tene Celt culture had been established there.

This seems to fit the odd pattern of German Celt mix: DNA vs Culture that Pierre seems to have as well
