I have been able to track this family all the way back to around the year 900 AD.........when they used the name Seynur or Seymur and adopted Le Sirier/Le Cirier (both forms) around the years 1400 AD when at least one family member became a knight. They are nobles: well landed........but suffered around the years 1600 AD selling off property for taxes. We have evidence that Martin LeSiier who was in Canada in the 1600's was likely from this lineage....... although there seems to be another LeCirier family on the east side of Paris as well: also nobles........ cannot find anything linking the two however....... Both families never varied up until modern times using Lesirier or Lecirier.......never Sire or Sirre..... Additionally they were neither likely Norman in bloodline...as they fought against them........ and so far; Pierre is looking DNA wise as a Norman Therefore: I do think right now: that neither of these two families are a source of origin for Pierre........
