I am also trying to track the Benjamin (dit St. Aubin). I have the following information:
i)Jean-Baptiste Benjamin dit St Aubin (1672-1744) m. Mareie Jeanne Allard (1676-?).
ii)One of their sons was Jean-Simon Benjamin dit St. Aubin (1712-?)m. Marie-Jeanne Vigeant (1714-?)
iii) One of their sond was Etienne Benjamin dit St Aubin m. MArie-Cecile Magny dit Ladoucer.
iv) They had a son also name Etienne Benjamin who married Charlotte Besset
v) There son was named Jean-Baptiste Benjamin but I have him marrying Marie-Charlotte Stanilsas
vi) They had a son named Flavian Benjamin (1827-?) who married Caroline Lareau
Vii) Their daughter was Azilda benjamin (1852-1941) who married Mathieu Lemay (1845-1895)
vIII) Their daughter was Sarah Lemay who married Alfred jean Baptiste Colle who was my great grandfather.

I have found good evidence for the original Jean-Baptiste Benjamin dit St Aubin (1672-1744) and for his son Jean Simon. I have not had corroborating evidence for the Etiennes.

The Jean-Baptiste Benjamin that was the son of Etienne was apparently educated in London, was a captain, and a judge of the supreme court (altho which I don't know)

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other information.

Thanks

James MacLean
