Nothing is easy in the search for Pierre Sirre

I posted before about a Carignan named Pierre Desaix dit La Chapelle

What I find now is a man about the same time named

Pierre Deshayes: dit St. Cyr
marries
Marguerite Guillet
and have many children

That he uses a dit name indicates he is military

Is Pierre "Desaix" dit La Chapelle
a different man than
Pierre Deshayes dit St. Cyr?

or did someone just get the dit names mixed up?

there is indication that there are 2 men who abjured during this time with similar names posted>

Pierre "Suire"
Pierre De Serre

Is one of these actually Pierre Desaix/Deshayes?
I have seen this version linked to Pierre De Serre.

Pierre Deshayes St. Cyr is clearly not
Pierre Sirre of Acadia.

but
does that still leave Pierre De Serre dit La Chapelle in the running?

Are Pierre Deshayes and Pierre De Serre different men?

grrrrrrrrrrrr

the hunt continues........
