I'm finding a LOT of Cyr and Roy families up in Quebec while researching my own DAVID family. I'm beginning to wonder if my own family didn't migrate down into the US in the same area about the same time. You might try looking around Buckingham, Hull, Gastineau, Quebec. Particular church parish where I am finding a Roy line is St. Gregoire de Naziance. Merry Christmas!
