Well it definately looks like we have a lot of info that we can share as we both seem to be doing the same thing. We are actually cousins from what I can see. So you are the daughter of Gwendoline Allison, correct. Do you know the names of any of your mothers brothers or sisters? At the moment I can give you the branch of your immediate family relating you your mothers brother Douglas as I have been in touch with Douglas's grandson in Australia. Douglas and your mother are half brothers and sisters on my fathers.

I certainly hope that you can see the humor in what I am about to tell you as I have come across of few people who haven't been able to. Mind you those who haven't tend to be people that turn out to not be related. From what I understand good old George was on a one man mission to populate the world. He has at least 3 wives that we know about. With Mary Peters he had 4 children, and then with my dad's mom he had 2. I guess by the time he got around to my dad's mom he was starting to slow down a tad.

I am actually going over to my dad's house today to get my hands on the family tree my dad has been working on in hopes that he can fill in some of my blanks. I have a gmail accoutn that I sent up for reseaching this so if you want you can email me at that account and we can exchange info there. The ending of course is @gmail.com and the first part it dragonflysurfaces. Didn't want to put it all in one word as sometime they wont let you post emails.

I look forward to hearing from you and to discussing our family further. I am glad that I came across your post as it has unearthed a part I was struggling with.

talk to you soon,

Austen
