As there appears to be considerable confusion about the dynasty of the kings of Jerusalem and Cyprus, I think that the descent should be sketched out for any Cypriot attempting to connect his lines to this:
Baldwin or Baudouin II had three daughters: Melisende who succeeded as Queen of Jerusalem 1131-1152 m. Fulk V Duke of Anjou; Alice m. Bohemond II Prince of Antioch 1111-1130; and, Hodierna m. Raymond II Count of Tripoli. All three have many descendants among Cypriots.
Baldwin III 1143-1163 succeeded his mother as King of Jerusalem m. Theodora Comnena. He, was succeeded by his brother Almaric I as King of Jerusalem 1163-1174 m.1st Maria Comnena, Theodora's cousin and had a daughter with her, Isabella I Queen of Jerusalem 1192-1205. He m.2ndly Agnes of Courtenay and had a son Who succeeded him as Baldwin IV King of Jerusalem 1174-1185 and a daughter Sibylla who m. (
) Guy of Lusignan King of Cyprus d.1192 and whose son succeeded his maternal uncle as Baldwin V d.1186.
Now, to clarify the LATER descents:
Isabella I Queen of Jerusalem by her 3rd husband Henry II C of Champagne d.1197 had a daughter Alice who m. Hugh I King of Cyprus d.1218 the son of Isabella I Queen of Jerusalem by her 4th husband Almaric King of Cyprus d.1205 (each brother, Guy and Almaric Lusignan having married a sister who was a Queen of Jerusalem);their children were: Henry I King of Cyprus d.1253 and Isabella.
Henry I of Cyprus had a son who succeeded him as Hugh II d. 1267. This King Hugh II of Cyprus had married Isabella of Ibelin who married after his death the son of her late husband's paternal aunt Isabella, who succeeded his 1st cousin as Hugh III King of Cyprus AND JERUSALEM d.1284.
Isabella of Ibelin bore three sons to Hugh III: Amalric d.1310; John I King of Cyprus and Jerusalem d.1285; and, Henry I King of Cyprus and Jerusalem d.1324.
