Anthony Rivers

Does anyone have information on Lord Anthony Rivers? He lived in fifteenth century England and was brother to Elizabeth Rivers who married King Edward the Fourth. He was Earl of Rivers and a Knight of the Garter and created Herditary Lord of the Isle of Wight. He was Lord Scales "by marriage". When his sister had her coronation as Queen of England a strange incident occured: their mother's Luxemburg kinsmen showed up at Westminster Abbey bearing shields showing the melusine ( a water sprite) with face painted to resemble the young queen. This caused her brother Anthony to single-handedly drive them all back at sword's point to their ship at Ship's Green where, before he would allow them to re-embark and set sail, he jousted every Luxemburg male in turn and then fought him in single combat until he had scratched his melusine shield. Does anyone know about this and what it has to do with Anthony
Rivers's claim to be King of Cyprus? Also was it just because James the Second of Cyprus was considered "the Bastard" (illegitimate, though he reigned) that Anthony added "-Rivers" to the house of Antioch-Lusignan and declared a new dynasty as "Antioch-Lusignan-Rivers"? Any information about this would be greatly appreciated and, if you can contribute to what I already know, I have documents that were not included among the two hundred manuscripts in the South Caroliniana Library University South Caroliniana Society Manuscripts URL
