I think -Dear Anha- that the Prince family in Cyprus goes back to "DE TOULOUSE" family, the same family of Raymond de Saint-Gilles, the hero of the first Crusade and the Count of Tripoli, this family exists now in Lebanon, Syria, the Holy Land and Cyprus, and its members are either Latin, or Greek Orthodox or Maronites. But the main branch ( who lives in Tripoli-Lebanon )assures that the family is from the same TOULOUSE family of Raymond de Saint Gilles, the majority says that Prince family is descended from a cousin of Raymond ( in the Middle East we call the family by the title of its elder! , it's a well known tradition ) and some other say that the family is descended directly from Raymond. it's good to know that the title of the Toulouse in Lebanon was "The Prine" and all the members of the family were called "the Prince Family".
I know the Prince (de Toulouse) , De Lusignan, Bustron...they are well-known , but I would de thankful if you have other names or persons in Cyprus who are from a Crusader descent.
Regards
