In the Pontefract area of Yorkshire there is a suspicion that the Cuttle and the earlier Cuttell family originated from the Cattell and before that the Cattall family of the Great Manor of Cattall near Wetherby Yorkshire.
Village now called Cattal.
Does anyone have any views on this theory ...or facts.
