Looking for information about James W. Cutshaw, my first cousin twice removed. J. W. lived in Chicago and, presumably, was a faculty member at one of the colleges or universities in Chicago. In 1935, the Clark Publishing Co. (Chicago) published a college Political Science textbook titled "The Whig: the Romance of American Politics." The author was James W. Cutshaw, my first cousin twice removed. J. W. wrote at least two other books ("Jakie" - a novel based on J. W.'s childhood and a book about monetary policies in the US). I do not know whether either of these books were ever published. During the period in which he was writing the three books, J. W. visited Akron two times to consult with my grandfather, Milo Cutshall, a first cousin of J. W.'s. Although J. W. was born in Henry Township, Fulton County, Indiana, and lived in or near Akron, Indiana, throughout his childhood.I have found no records of his birth, marriage, or death.
