John you are so right there seems to be at least one John in every family of CUTRIGHT's I am very sure from your's,Don C and Gorden C. research I have found on differant sites That I have visited, as your John (the bear hunter) died and was buried in Ohio, my John b. 1793 V. Died at Robeline, Natchitoches Parish, LA. it blew my theory that My John came down from Kentucky as a volenteer to help Andrew Jackson in the war of 1812. The first wife at this point is unknown, she is the mother of all his children Wife #1

Married to 2d wife Amanda Pate, ,1849 at Sabine Parish, La
Married to 3d wife Cathrine, ,1855? at LA John I have quite a bit more, but at this point I have been unable to find who are John's parents. Love the Family run down that you presented it shows lot of work.
