Bob,
As you may have noticed "John Cutright" is a common name in our family. Do you know who your John was married to? What are the names and dates of his children?
Your ancestor may be descended from John (the Indian Scout) Cutright or his brother Benjamin. There are also three brothers--Richard Cutright, Peter Cutright, and Samuel Curtright who came from Hampshire Co. VA. Some or all of them had sons named John.
I do not believe you are descended from my ancestor John (the Bear Hunter) Cutright as all his descendents are known and his son named John was born in 1789.
John O. Cutright
