I am descended from John (the Bear Hunter) Cutright who was born in about 1747 near Moorefield West Virginia. He served in the Revolution. In about 1785 moved to Clarksburg WV, and in 1789 he moved to Kentucky. In 1793 he was a part of the Kentucky Mounted Volunteers under General "Mad" Anthony Wayne against the Shawnee in Ohio. In April 1796 he moved to Ross Co. Ohio with the Nathanial Massie party. John died in 1830 in Ross Co. Ohio. He married Elizabeth Subre in 1773. They had 10 children.
