It is unknown when Polly died, but it appears she may have died about the time Joshua made the move to Kentucky. My ancestor Mary Jane Rust born October or December 1832 (died Illinois 5 Oct 1919), buried Fountain Cemetery (south of Marion, Williamson, Illinois) is listed as a daughter of Joshua Rust and mother unknown on her state and county death certificates.
At age 20 she moved from , Graves, Kentucky USA to , Williamson, Illinois USA. It appears she may have been enumerated twice in 1850. In Illinois she resides with David Troutman and wife Elizabeth and their two small children. This David Troutman later married the widow of Joshua Rust, Delilah/Delia/Deliah Hobbs Rust.
