I am looking for parents of a John Cuthbertson, a silk weaver. He married Jean Orr on 1 Nov 1814 in Carmunnock, Lanark, Scotland, and they had four daughters there: Janet, Agness, Jean, and Margaret btwn 1815 and 1822. The christening record for Margaret (b. 19 June 1822; christened 4 August 1822) indicates that she was the daughter of the "late" John Cuthbertson. John's daughters all married in Carmunnock. Janet married George Buchanan in 1834. Agness married John Cook; Jean married John Adamson; and Margaret married John Fleming all in 1840.
