Just in case there is some generational connection, I thought I'd tell you that an Anty(abrevaition for Antonio or Anthony?) Cushin was a sponsor at the birth of Danl (Daniel) Shanahan, Nov 1824 in Rosscarbery, Cork, Ireland. Anthony would not be a usual Gaelic forename, so it caught my eye. Go to http:churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie for further information. Be sure to type in EXACTLY how name appears in record...Anty not Anthony. I do know that families in this area did migrate to New Brunswick. Jeanne (McCarthy) DeSantis
