Wow! I would love to see a marriage or death certificate for John and Mary. I have tried to find Timothy Howard in Vermont. He was mentioned in Mary's ad in "The Pilot." there is a Timothy Howard in Rutland, Vt in 1850. In the same household are John Howard (30), Dennis Howard (20) and John Howard (1) and also Mary Dogan (25). Of course I have no idea if this is the right one, but the Dugan name seems to get around. I am wondering if Mary's husband might be a nephew of Ellen's husband. Perhaps they all came from the same area in Limerick? The name Elizabeth puzzles me in the census listing - I have an Ellen, but no Elizabeth. I do not have a James, either.
