This information sure ties in with your previous message about 'The Bureau of Missing Friends'. For some reason Bartholomew used his own name and also his brother, Thomas, and mothers maiden name, Howard as an alias. I looked at the Army & Navy Hospital 1910 census in Hot Springs, Arkansas but didn't find a Howard or Cussen listed. There was only 1 1/2 pages. This may not be the Veterans Hospital in Hot Springs. There are a lot of enumeration districts in Garland Co. So he could still be there. Also looked at 1910 Fort Cobb, Ok, but didn't come up with any Cussens. I couldn't find Hintingon, Indiana on my map so don't know what county that is in. Does it say in your records? I don't understand the part about Bartholomews step-father being John Dugan. Wasn't your GGGrandmother married to a Dugan also? Were Mary Howard and Ellen Howard sisters? And they both married Dugans? This is another piece to the puzzle. And very interesting. Thanks for sharing all this information. Donna Notify Administrator about this message?
