Here is my lineage. Everett Lee Cushman, Orrin Cushman (no middle inital), Isreal Cushman. Info taken from Everett's birth/death. Orrin info from 1850/1860 census. Isreal from marriage(Tolland,Tolland,CT.) record to Amelia Belendy Ladd (shows he was from Stafford,Ct.no age given) census 1840/1850/1860 suggest he was born abt 1814. Looking for Isreal's parents.

Mansfield, Tolland, CT. vital records has an Isreal born 1801 to Wm. & Lucinda Balch Cushman. Henry Weyels book 'Cushman Genealogy" has an Isreal (pg 352)(1025 II) b. in Stafford, CT. to a William of Stafford, CT. No birth date no mothers name is shown. Familysearch.org list Isreal b. abt 1801 which concurs with Mansfield CT records. I personally researched all the above records to prove Isreal's lineage back to Thomas.
I am beginning to feel he was possibly born in Canada.

Can you help me? Thanking you in advance.
Barbara Metsack
proof he was son of William of Stafford
