On the 1920 US Census Woodrow J Cushman is listed as a nephew to a Charles and Rose Morris.
After doing some research I found this. >> ""MORRIS, Preston (1802-1869): m1. 1829 MILLER, Adaliza; m2. 1849 RIGGS, Salina; s/o Maurice and Sarah (Cushman) Morris; settled in Linn Co; died Linn Co, OR ""

What is the Morris connection?
