Hi Robert, I have married into the Cushion family. doing research, but not having much success. do not have a kate cushion in our tree, but doesn't mean she doesn't fit in some how.Our Cushions are from Kaniva, Vic, Aust. Date of immigration unknown, but initially settled in SA. Have gone as far back as my husbands ggg grandparents Daniel Cushion and wife catherine Treynor/Largey, M Adelaide,1852. They had a son,William John,1853-1941 other siblings unknown, he M Charlotte McDonald,1858-1928. they had 10 children of which william john 'jack' cushion was our grandfather, 1885-1948. he M elsie margaret coad,1897-1976 and they bore 7 children of which my husbands father, Laurence was one. Records in SA very sketchy. if anything looks familiar to you then give me a bell
