Thanks Andy.
I had found some of that information but not quite all.
The frustrating thing here is that I have searched the googlebook entries for Fenwicks people and other early Settlers of Monmouth county and the Alloways area and found no mention of Samuel and his wife Elizabeth arriving. But they must have been there by 1679 when they first acquired their land. Children, Samuel and Jane fit in with his children born in Crewkerne, Somerset and I just need proof that it is the same family. Without documentation of when he arrived in NJ that is going be impossible.
One thing I have yet to do and will soon, is go and see if there are any Quaker records in Somerset that may mention them prior to 1679 for clues!!
Cheers
Juliet
