Circa 1910 photo of Vera M. Curtis
I purchased an undated RPPC (Real Photo Postcard) (not postally used) depicting a group of 10 young women. It is labeled on the back:
"1-Lulu Besley-Marium Downie-Eulah Wooll.
2-Fern Wooley-Dell Briggs-Lelah Wooll-Grace Albaugh.
3-Neva Briggs-Emma Rnessi-Vera Curtis."
I found Vera M. Curtis listed in the 1900, 1910, and 1920 Census data for Duplain Township, Clinton Co., MI.Born Dec 1888 in Mi, she was the daughter of a farmer turned grain elevator superintendent, Lorenzo W. Curtis, born Dec 1852 in OH, and Julia S. (maiden name unknown), born Apr 1859 in NY.At the time of the 1920 enumeration, Vera was employed as a milliner.
